Joe Biden spent most of his campaign for president hiding out in his basement and avoiding questions from the media.
If the liberal media, who pretty much gave him a pass for that behavior, was going to change his behavior after the election, they were sadly mistaken.
It’s pretty hilarious that he does this, even with media that treats him like a coddled doll and sits on stories that could be harmful to him.
But now he’s even avoiding virtual questions as well.
Biden has been doing Zoom conference calls about the transition. Journalists on the calls have been asking in the chat part of the Zoom for Biden to take more questions. That’s a big no no.
So the Biden team simply did away with the chat function so reporters could no longer ask, Fox reported.
“The Biden transition team appears to have disabled the public chat function on its transition zoom calls, a place where I and others had been routinely complaining to them to take more questions,” incoming Politico White House editor Sam Stein tweeted Wednesday.
Stein and other reporters had previously also expressed frustration on Dec. 18, when the transition team only allowed five questions.
“Hey guys, there [are] tons of folks looking to ask questions and since this is being done once a week, could we PLEASE go longer or at least hold more frequent briefings,” Stein wrote on the chat.
“Any chance you can take a few more questions? There are a lot of folks here with questions,” Zeke Miller from The Associated Press added.
“Is there a point in saying we want to ask questions if you only call on the same small group every week?” said White House reporter Andrew Feinberg.
But what else did they expect based on his prior behavior? Is this a surprise? They’re going to stomp all over the media and the media is going to bend over and say, “Thank you, sir, may I have another?”
The transition is going to do everything they can to hide Biden and prevent the media from any comment on his decline, even though media probably would do all they could to spin it.
