It Appears ‘The Squad’ Has Left Their Fellow Democrats to the Wolves

The left really seems to love the ladies that comprise the vaunted group called “The Squad” but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of love in return. It appears these congresswomen aren’t going to do much to help their fellow Democrats in the midterms.

According to the Daily Caller, none of the squad members have donated a single penny to other Democrat campaigns:

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York,  Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts are expected to donate $250,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), according to the document. Reps. Cori Bush of Missouri, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, and Jamaal Bowman of New York are all expected to contribute $150,000. None of the six have contributed any money to the campaign arm, despite concerns that Democrats are likely to struggle during the November midterms.

AOC is allowing her Courage to Change PAC to do all the donating for her with it spending nearly $360,000 during this election cycle, reported the Daily Caller. These include Summer Lee in Pennsylvania, Nina Turner in Ohio, and Jessica Cisneros in Texas.

AOC self-identifies as a socialist but is pretty stingy with her money. In July, RedState reported that the New York congresswoman who made “tax the rich” something of a slogan of hers owes unpaid taxes and has a tax warrant issued against her. According to reports, she has refused to pay these taxes and is currently fighting against having to pay them.

But this doesn’t mean she’s stingy about buying her own things. AOC was famously caught parking her Tesla (a company she denounced) illegally in front of a Whole Foods (owned by Amazon, a corporation she chased out of New York) just blocks from her swanky D.C. apartment.

The New York Congresswoman who unofficially leads the squad has always seemed like a Democrat apart from the other Democrats and she’s really proving it here.
