As I reported earlier, Joe Biden had a dumpster fire of an interview with Jake Tapper. The problem for him wasn’t so much what we’ve seen lately, that he’s incoherent or incomprehensible. He was comprehensible, that unfortunately was the problem: he promised to raise taxes on businesses which would kill the economy after Trump has been bringing it back. He suggested people who had previously voted for him and Obama, but then voted to Trump might be responding to a Trump “dog whistle,” not only lying about the president, but suggesting the voters were racist.
His people may wish that he was more incomprehensible. Because when he isn’t, he’s just so wrong, it’s something to behold.
I thought the Jake Tapper interview from Thursday was bad. But Biden did another interview on Thursday where he added to it, actually saying that the president was dangerous to Israel, according to Haaretz.
“Trump has put Israel in danger by tearing up the Iran nuclear deal, and replaced it with nothing,” Biden said, directing his criticism at the President over his Iran policy as well. “Iran is closer to a [nuclear] weapon than when we left office in 2017,” Biden added. “And instead of Iran being isolated, we are the ones being isolated.”
There are likely few things more delusional and tougher sells than this.
Not only has Trump been the best friend that Israel may have ever had in the White House, he did what others like Barack Obama and others promised to do for years but didn’t actually do, moving the American embassy to Jerusalem. Trump also helped broker a peace agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Just as Biden is making this ridiculous claim, Trump brokered another peace agreement between Israel and Bahrain. Apparently Biden hasn’t kept up with the news and is recycling old DNC talking points which were bad to begin with. These are stunning achievements that have left Israel far safer and have in fact drawn sharper contrast and isolation of bad actors like Iran.
Thanks, Joe Biden, for making such a comment that can again highlight why Trump is the better choice.
Imagine the nerve of Biden to actually make this claim when he and Obama actually propped up the Iranian mullahs who have threatened death to Israel (and America) with the Iran Deal and with pallets of cash. Obama even tried to meddle in the Israeli elections (and lost). If there was any American administration that was a “danger” to Israel, it was the Obama administration.
