The Biden Team is the gift that keeps on giving. As folks are well aware, the former Vice President and pretender to the throne, Joe Biden, has announced through his transition team, a flurry of Executive Orders and proposed legislation. Biden supposedly intends on signing them on “Day One” of his illegitimate presidency. Although to be quite fair, given his obvious mental decline, he might not really be aware of what is going on allegedly under his imprimatur.
According to the New York Times (emphasis mine):
President-elect Joe Biden’s team has developed a raft of decrees that he can issue after the inauguration to begin reversing some of President Trump’s policies…
…President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. plans to start his administration with dozens of executive directives on top of expansive legislative proposals in a 10-day blitz meant to signal a turning point for a nation reeling from disease, economic turmoil, racial strife and now the aftermath of the assault on the Capitol.
Mr. Biden’s team has developed a raft of decrees that he can issue on his own authority after the inauguration on Wednesday to begin reversing some of President Trump’s most hotly disputed policies…
…They include rescinding the travel ban on several predominantly Muslim countries; rejoining the Paris climate change accord; extending pandemic-related limits on evictions and student loan payments; issuing a mask mandate for federal property and interstate travel; and ordering agencies to figure out how to reunite children separated from their families after crossing the border, according to a memo circulated on Saturday by Ron Klain, his incoming White House chief of staff, and obtained by The New York Times…
…He also plans to send sweeping immigration legislation on his first day in office, providing a pathway to citizenship for 11 million people living in the country illegally.
Interestingly, but not surprisingly, Biden (or his puppeteers) plan on also issuing an Executive order to cancel the Federal permits for the Keystone Pipeline. This “minor” little action, somehow didn’t make the public list of intended actions. As reported and analyzed by Red State’s Shipwreckedcrew:
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) reported yesterday that a “briefing note” from the Biden transition team mentioned the intention of the incoming Biden Administration to cancel the building permit for the Keystone XL pipeline on “Day One” of the Administration via Executive Order.
Let’s recap a bit. Day One priorities for the Biden Administration are: Get us back into a climate agreement that will put us at an economic disadvantage; Start allowing terrorists to enter these United States by repealing Trump’s ban on them; Mandating mask wear; Eliminate Trump policy of keeping alien invaders South of the border while their (99% unsubstantiated) cases are adjudicated; Path to citizenship for over 11 million illegal aliens and killing the Keystone Pipeline.
That’s just a partial list. It’s easy to talk about the low hanging fruit when it comes to the ill effects of Biden’s America Last policies and priorities. The Keystone project is a case in point. Cancelling it will almost immediately cost 40,000 high skill jobs, with the side “benefit” of alienating our Northern neighbor Canada with whom we are joint venturing. The follow up to that of course, will be a ban on fracking, thus ceding our dominant energy position back to Saudi Arabia. More on that in another article.
For today, let’s have a look at some consequences of Biden’s proposed actions on immigration, border enforcement (or abandonment) and amnesty. A couple days ago I was listening to the David Webb show.** I like Webb because not only is he not strident, but he also takes the time to actually engage with callers, often effectively making aa caller, the “guest” for a goodly part of an entire segment.
One caller brought up a great, although pretty standard point about the impact of Democrat immigration policies. She pointed to the effect they have on low skill jobs, especially those in the service industry and most especially minorities and women. However, during the extended exchange, Mr Webb brought up another aspect I hadn’t considered.
One huge result of Democrat policies that affect lower skilled women, is an increase in homelessness for that demographic, which makes sense, but hadn’t been on my radar screen. Here’s the kicker. Webb also noted that homelessness among women often leads to other unintended consequences. Mr Webb was too much of a gentleman and was a little reluctant to be more specific on that point…until an unnamed Twitter follower said something.
What he was driving at, is that homelessness among women also leads to sex trafficking. A woman who is on the street, hungry and possibly even having a child to feed, is a prime target for those who would take advantage of her. That’s about as evil as it gets.
As I’ve said before, Democrats care about nothing except for power. They stop at nothing to gain and keep power. They certainly don’t believe that Black lives matter. Their policies for decades have shown just the opposite.
Democrats don’t really care abut other minorities, American or illegal alien. Their polices suppress wages and job opportunities for American minorities. Those same policies create the “attractive nuisances” like amnesty, that encourage folks to trek thousands of miles, or send their unaccompanied children, subjecting them to assault, servitude and sex trafficking.
This is the party assuming power today at noon. God help us.
